This well maintained little park offers affordable accommodation with clean amenities and friendly service. The park is situated right on the oceanfront with waves hitting a rock wall. The park is situated just South of Kellys Beach, a patrolled beach. Bargara Lakes Tavern is just five hundred metres south down the road that serves reasonably priced meals and has a takeaway bottle-o attached. There is also a small takeaway fish & chip shop one block north of the park that sells bread, milk and papers as well as other convenience items. Mon Repos Conservation Park and Turtle Rookery operates from November through till March and is just eight minutes drive from the park. Our park is only a short drive from the main shopping centre of Bargara as well as the Bargara Golf Course, Innes Park Golf Course and Bargara Bowls club. The are a number of good diving and snorkelling sites just South of the park as well as diving directly out the front of the park on a calm day. We can also arrange day trips to Lady Musgrave Island and Lady Elliott Island which leave from the town of 1770 about 90 minutes away.
Bundaberg city is just 15 minutes drive where one can go shopping, visit the Bert Hinkler memorial, Hall of Aviation Museum, botanic gardens, tour the Bundaberg Rum Distillery or visit the Ginger Beer Factory.
On a Sunday you can visit the Shalom Markets where they have fresh fruit and vegetables and local quality craft.
